Aerobic Deep Water Exercise
Would you like decreased pain and increased flexibility and endurance? This class is for you!

This is a NO IMPACT program. All exercises are performed in deep water and all activities are within the capabilities of most people with arthritis. It is not necessary to know how to swim. Although it is a non-clinical program, it may result in some physical benefits such as decreased pain and increased flexibility and endurance. Participants should have functional and relatively comfortable shoulder and elbow motion and be able to tolerate a 20-minute aquatic endurance component without excessive pain, fatigue or shortness of breath. Participants must provide and wear Aqua Jogger or instructor-approved buoyancy apparatus and appropriate deck and water shoes. (Please note minimum age of 18 for this adult exercise program.) |
