Texas Renaissance Festival Trip
Travel back in time and experience the exuberant life and spirit of Elizabethan England at the Texas Renaissance Festival.

The Texas Renaissance Festival, located in Plantersville, TX, is one of the nation's largest and most acclaimed renaissance theme parks where the sights, sounds, and tastes of 16th century England come alive every fall. Participants are invited to come in period costume.
Tickets to the festival are $17 and are available for purchase to LSUA students and to community members. Tickets for children who have adult supervision and are between the ages of 7 and 13 are $7. Tickets can be purchased at the Continuing Education Office (located in the Business Education Center, 1501-A Wimbledon Dr, Alexandria, 318-473-6495). Ticket price covers transportation and admission to the festival; food and drink are not included. LSUA students should register and purchase tickets before 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 18th. Community members may purchase tickets from before from 8:00 AM, Friday, November 6th, to 4:30 PM, Wednesday, November 18th. Bus will leave at 5:00 AM on Saturday, November 21st, from the parking lot opposite the LSUA Student Center and will return to the same location by 11:30 PM.
